Best Practices for Implementing Telemedicine

Description:
Providers and patients alike are eager embrace more convenient methods of connecting, such as telemedicine. They may not think through, however, the risks that come along with upending traditional models of care. This program will identify the essential risks that risk management and administrative personnel face, and provide resources to successfully implement telemedicine.

Criteria for Successful Completion:
To receive continuing nursing education contact hours, participants must achieve 80% on the post-test and complete an evaluation at its conclusion.

This program is approved contact hours toward the fulfillment of the requirements of ASHRM designations of FASHRM (Fellow) and DFASHRM (Distinguished Fellow) and toward CPHRM (Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management) renewal. CE credit may be used toward CPHRM renewal only by those holding the credential at the time of the program.
